Go with the flow

In line at the local Osco over on Downer fetching tonight's gourmet extravaganza (It's not delivery it's DiGiorno's!) While in line I notice that the woman in front of me had the super value pack of tampons, and not one, not two, but three packs of maxi pads. Good times, good times. Definitely hide all the weapons over at that house. There has to be a rule somewhere that if you are buying over a certain amount of feminine hygiene products than you should not be allowed to buy any sharp implements.

I made sure to keep my distance.

Ok, so I'm supposed to be writing a lesson plan for my 504 class in 45 minutes, but Instead I'm posting over on A.net, and writing stupid shit here when I have nothing to say.

BTW, did you notice the new digs? I was getting tired of the orange, it's a blog not a 70's dream kitchen. I also redid the links over on the right. Instead of plugging sites which everybody already knows and visits I am going to use it to plug friend's blogs, If you know of one that I should be linking let me know.

Sooooooo, back to the lesson plan. Yep gonna write me a lesson plan about Africa for 8'th graders. Yep gonna put my nose to the grindstone now. Gonna do that real soon, like now, or maybe now. Less than 40 minutes to go, gotta get this shit done...now.

It has been an extremely long time since my last post here, remember those heady days of January '06? We were all freezing our asses off, the Bush administration was lying to us about a multitude of things, and the Democratic party didn't have a coherent message, my how things have changed. Actually the only really big thing is that Cheney shot a guy, becoming the first V.P. to shoot someone since Aaron frickin Burr...Way to get in the history books Dick!!

Actually the reason for my prolonged absence is that I started grad school full-time. That's right I am no longer cobbling together courses here and there to fix my woeful Marquette (ring out ahoya!!!) GPA, I am now an honest-to-god grad student going after my masters in education. Go me!

Needles to say that the work load has been frightening, especially in the writing department. I am writing an average of 3 papers a week so when it comes to putting things on my blog I am just spent. I mean come on, I'm not a machine baby!! Now that I've got things under control I am going to be posting here more often. So to all of you who continue to check back every day just to watch a frozen screen...thank you, and you shall now be rewarded.

And yes, the light in my kitchen is still out.
