Plane guy
Yeah I'm a geek...
But you have to admit, this is a cool picture.
Chances are that if you are reading this you already know me. But if you are a stranger and you are looking for left-of-center political opinions, rambling, senseless rants, and coverage of the Atlanta Braves that can only be described as severely manic-depressive...Welcome!!

And I just thought it was a cool pic. Oh well...
The photo was taken at Kuala Lumpur internation airport (IATA code KUL) The airport is relatively new having replaced the old Subang International in 2002.
The plane in the foreground is a 737-400, a short-medium range jetliner it was introduced by Boeing in 1988 as a stretch version of the 737-300. Typical capicity is 146 in two classes but can be expanded to as much as 188.
The larger plane is none other than the famous 747. This example is a 747-400. A long range airliner the 400 series is the youngest member of the 747 family. Coming on-line in 1989 it can carry 416 passengers, although the Japanese domestic versions can hold as many as 588.
I can tell you about the airline but I'm tired of typing.
